I've inherited a network with no documentation and am getting my head around what's what policy wise.
There are a number of *.cmd scripts in the NETLOGON directory that appear to have no GPO linked to them and yet they are running at startup. The scripts vary slightly (e.g. mapping network drives) and are applied to different sites.
I've scouted around to see it they are linked by AD group somehow but cannot find the link. I don't want to delete them at this point as modifcations do take effect on machines so they are definitely active.
Apologies if I'm missing soemthing obvious, but can any offer a newbie sys admin some advise where else these script are being triggered from?
