Hi I have AD DS in my computer and because I wanted to install Lync server 2013 I should remove domain controller from this computer so I created a VM using Hyper-V on this computer and added this to the domain and made it a domain controller.
Then using AD Users and computers I moved the server from DCs to computers section and added VM to DCs section.(when I added the VM to the domain and made it a domain controller I saw changes in accounts and now password and username of the VM has changed to the domain administrator which is same with main server account and password (both domain\Administrator))
now is there any other thing to do for removing DC from the main server (windows server 2012). Because when I run the Lync server setup the same error as before shown up "This product cannot be installed on a dc".
I think dc is not completely removed from the main server with just a single change in AD users and computers. What other to do?
