I have a third party installing software on a new server. They are not physically on our site, but want to add it to our domain so that it's
'ready to go' when it arrives at our site. They want us to add the server name to our AD in preparation for this. They will not have domain admin privileges, so I'm guessing they are going to make a same-named domain on their site and then hope the server works on our same-named domain? Is there actually a way to do this?
