Added a new domain controller - now what?

Hello,

Just stumbled upon these forums and thought Id ask a question. Im an IT Manager of a SMB, I rely on these kind of forums for help as Im "the IT Guy" in the office with nobody else.

I followed the instructions in this article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708131(v=ws.10).aspx

And have succesfully (I think) added a Windows Server 2008 Server to my 2003 SBS Network.

I was somewhat reticent to run ADprep and yet after a few tries it seemed to work OK and now I see my

2008 Server as a Domain Controller in the SBS Server Manager.

So far so good. But now what?

I should add that we are around 60 users here at head office and that the 2008 Server is in a remote site, where another 5 users work.

I already have a file replication application that makes backups of all my shared documents and copies them to the

remote site every evening, as well I have some other backups running here. In terms of file backups Im not worried

but I wanted to put in place some kind of Disaster Recovery model so that this new domain controller can handle

the authentication process in the event of network failure or some other event.

My question is what further steps should I be taking on this 2008 Server to ensure its operating effectively?

Thanks
