Hello - Running adminpak start->all programs -> Administrative Tools -> Activer Directory Users and Computers result=> All you can do is "Connect to Domain"
But I am already logged in to another domain. ERROR: "The domain (FQDN) could not be found because: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted"
There does not seem to be a way to specify the IP address of the DC and additionally which user to be when contacting. I am definitely NOT on the same subnet.
Is there any way to work through this?
BTW: I can do this even from a stand-alone server using RSAT (MMC plug-in) logged in with a similar Login (JoeUser/group Users) to the DC (JoeUser/group Domain Users) - but it was in the same subnet.
