We are migrating the resources from an existing DOMAIN(Windows Server 2003) to a NEW DOMAIN(Windows Server 2008 R2) in a seperate FOREST.
We are migrating everything - groups/users/computers
Client OS - Windows XP
Is the TRANSLATION of LOCAL PROFILES REQUIRED?
I spoke to an administrator, and he mentioned that if Computers are also being migrated then "Local Profile Translation" is not required - I am not sure if he is right
I read somewhere that if the migration is taking place between 2 domains in the same FOREST, then also "Local Profile Translation" is not required
Please HELP !!
